GeroPsych is looking for a full-time Director of GeroPsych Operations to join our team.

 

GeroPsych, the mental health division of Key Rehabilitation, Inc., is a group mental health practice based in Murfreesboro, TN. We partner with skilled nursing facilities across the Midwest, delivering psychological services to residents. Our services are designed to address the psychosocial challenges residents face, while promoting personal growth and a sense of purpose. Responsibilities

The Director of GeroPsych Operations is pivotal in overseeing  operational, financial, and clinical operations, and strategic direction. This position will collaborate closely with clinical staff, administrative teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of care and operational efficiency. The director provides leadership, supervision, training/development and guidance to program staff, leading efforts in GeroPsych’s integration as well as for identifying improvement opportunities and innovations, designed to positively impact care delivery processes for clients and patients. This role also ensures policies and procedures are followed by staff in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Travel requirement: up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field

Experience:

Required:

    • Three (3) years of program management experience: program planning, program management, coordination, training and evaluation, and budgeting.
    • Three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health operations, preferably in the post-acute care and outpatient settings.
    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office and Google products.
    • Experience in quality improvement and performance measurement

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), to practice in the state(s) assigned.
  • Valid driver license and car insurance as required by state law.

Other:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to direct, inspire and develop direct service providers towards excellence in their work.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills in managing complex tasks associated with providing services under multiple contracts with different expectations, requirements, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to openly, honestly, consistently, and accurately communicate information to others in a manner that is respectful of various backgrounds (e.g. cultural, educational, religious, racial) creating two-way feedback channels and open dialogue. Takes the time to listen and understand the entire situation and constructively address issues.
  • Knowledge of current behavioral health trends, best practices and impacts of federal and state healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Strong attention to details, follow-up and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Must be a self-starter and exhibit initiative
